Engagement Photo Shoot

An engagement photo shoot is a great way to announce your engagement to the world! The best way to document that precious moment is to loosely base it on a certain theme such City, Nature, romantic movie, era, or season. That way, couples will enjoy going back to those photos in years to come becuase of their originality and personal sentiment.

An added benefit to an engagement photo shoot is that you get to know and develop a relationship with photographer(s) that will document your wedding. With an engagement session, you can strengthen and deepen that relationship/ friendship you started at your initial meeting, at which point, your wedding day becomes an extension of the engagement photo shoot, making it comfortable and relaxing experience. On your wedding day, your photographers will feel like guests taking pictures of their friends. From our initial meeting, we strive to create that atmosphere with our clients. We enjoy working with couples that book us for weddings with engagement sessions allowing us to develop that friendship and build on it every time we meet.

For their engagement, Izabel and Adam decided they wanted a fun and flirty session with the sky scrapers of NYC as their backdrop.

Trash the Dress - Behind the scenes

Looking back to October and the unforgettable wedding of Michael & Kelly at The View restaurant in Long Island, we wanted to highlight something many people might not notice when looking at our work.

Getting “that perfect shot” requires skill, patience and extreme dedication in the most extreme situations. During our “trash the dress” shoot with Michael and Kelly, Marcin proved just that by getting into waist deep water in order to capture the couple’s most intimate moments from the natural yet hard to reach angles.

When asked about his experience, Marcin said:

“Staying on the beach with Mike and Kelly and ‘keeping it safe’ would have been fine in most instances but the vision I had would not allow me to do so. Making the most of that moment involved me going into water on two separate occasions to capture what I had in mind. Yes it was risky, yes it was chilly and the water was cold, and no I did not plan for this nor did I have a change of clothes, but all of that doesn’t really matter because the pictures speak for themselves”.
